2nd Birthday Celebrations Friday & Saturday!

Seems like just yesterday it was 2008....

The markets were tanking and some "damn fools" decide to open a neighborhood grocery. Well, as they say, there's never a perfect time for a baby, and, never a perfect time to start a business.

Thanks to you, we're here and growing! THANK YOU!

We'd like you to join us for two fun events:

Friday, Nov. 19, 5-8pm:
Pizza and craft beer, on the house! We'll be sharing some of our favorite craft brews and hot slices of Shenandoah Pizza

Saturday, Nov. 20, 1-3pm:
Ice cream floats with sugar-sweetened Abita Root Beer, with ice cream from Split Banana.

PLUS-> Meg Hall of Cheese to You will be here Saturday with artisan cheese. Now through the holiday season she'll be here EVERY SATURDAY so you can choose the finest cheese for your own celebrations.

See you soon.

No? Nooooo?
Don't make us put you down for a nap, George.

Late Summer Cheese...for You

This Friday evening we welcome back cheese expert Meg Hall. She will present more than a dozen late summer cheeses to sample along with two select wines. This is a great opportunity for you to have specialty cheese cut to order and discover new favorites.

We have two tastings, one at 5pm and the next at 6pm. You are welcome to stop by any time...but you'll miss part of the presentation and will have to wait until her return next month!

Speaking of summer... did you know that Meg's parents are the authors of the book "Summer of a Thousand Cheeses"? The book traces artisan cheese production in America. You can order online or pick up a copy here.

See you Friday!

"Cheese To You" with Meg Hall

Do you consider yourself to be...

a) a person willing to try new things

b) a person interested in learning

c) a person who loves cheese

or d) all of the above?

Then don't miss this month's new selection of artisan cheese. We're doing a tasting with Meg Hall, Friday, August 6th. To enjoy the entire thing please arrive at 5pm or at 6pm (You're free to drop by as your schedule allows...you'll just miss out on some of the cheese and wine).

As Wallace would compliment, "[Meg's] just crackers about cheese."
