Starting this week, Staunton Downtown Development Association and the Staunton Creative Community Fund are presenting “Confessions of an Entrepreneur” this Thursday, May 17 at 6pm on the patio. This is the first of a three-part series featuring local, small business owners discussing the highs and lows of getting their business off the ground.
This round of featured speaker/entrepreneurs will be Doug & Caroline Sheridan of Sunspots Studio, Carey McCallum of The Sacred Circle and Erin Blanton of Pufferbellies Toys & Books. This should be a great series of events! Look for details on next month’s get-together.
We also have a great music weekend ahead too. Skip Haga is riding over from Charlottesville for a Saturday patio performance. Some of you may recognize his name from Fellini’s #9 restaurant, where he often performs.
Of course, this Saturday also holds Staunton Jams on Beverley Street in front of Baja Bean.
Finally, the first CSA drop from Nu-Beginning Farms on the season was this past week. If you’re a subscriber and have any questions, drop us a note.
See you on the patio!
